Hello editors, and the CPA community.
I’m writing today to provide an update on the Legoman bias issues we raised a month or so ago. In the last few hours, members of the community have come forward to highlight even more problems with Legoman’s page that were overlooked during my edits. We are currently working on editing out as many of these issues as possible. But, the team were seriously considering just nuking the page and starting from scratch due to how many problems were found.
We’ll go into the details.
Medals Section
We were approached by various army leaders and informed that many of the medals on Legoman’s medal section were not actually awarded to him or had since been rescinded. This includes:
Templars of Club Penguin
Chevalier Medal
Revenge Of The Alliance Medal
Conversations with Templars leadership found that Legoman doesn’t have any of these medals.
Water Vikings [WV]
SWAT War Victory Parade Medal
Golden Seas War Medal
Golden Seas War Victory Parade Medal
Whilst Legoman may have attended these events/wars, they were never recognised as official medals by WV.
Pjayo’s Retirement Event Medal
WV stopped recognising retirement events as medals in June 2021, so this medal is invalid.
Ice Warriors
Oops Entered Early Medal
March Madness Champions Medal
Tayto Champions Medal
Chunky Monkey Medal
Tri Poloski Medal
Chaos Clowns Medal
Flamez Golds Medal
All of Legoman’s Ice Warriors medals were revoked when he was banned from their server.
People's Imperial Confederation [PIC]
Operation: Templaria Medal
Fall Apart War Medal
War of Rusting Hope Medal
Challengers Cup 2 Grand Finalists Medal
Whilst Legoman attended these events/wars, they were never recognised as medals by PIC.
Army of Club Penguin [ACP]
Summer Awards 2021 Medal
There was no medal for attending the ACP Summer Awards.
Screenshots verifying all of the following medals are false is available on request but for the sake of reading ease, I’ve skipped them for this post.
Wars That Lego Didn’t Actually Lead
Dialogue with SWAT Leader Mare has revealed that despite his claims on his wiki page, Legoman had no leading involvement or any major involvement in the Eagre Foray, Serving Weapons and Toppings War [vs PZF] or the Flash Nemesis War [vs ACP]. Legoman wasn’t even a SWAT leader at any point during these three conflicts. Consequently, statements by Lego saying this are being changed.
Further False Claims
Conversations with other army leaders found that other statements made by Lego were also false.
A discussion with Fire Warriors leader Sweater found that virtually all of the claims on Legoman’s wiki page about his time with Fire Warriors were false. Sweater informed us that:
1. Legoman’s graphics aren’t used anywhere on the Fire Warriors website.
2. Legoman had no involvement in the contacting of Fire Warriors Creator Wwe09
3. Legoman had no influence on the max sizes, which didn’t even surpass 10 during Legoman’s time advising.
4. Legoman was not part of website creation.
This account directly contradicts the version of events Legoman portrays on his wiki page.
Our conversations with Mare also suggested that much of Lego’s SWAT history is also an untrue version of events, but we won’t go into further detail for the time being as further investigation is required.
Finally, Xing told us that Legoman’s practice of voice-chat leading did not become a “staple” of Templars.
Our investigation into Legoman’s edits has been one full of shock and horror for the wiki team. I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to our efforts to find the truth, particularly to Cabin who did the majority of the research whilst I was busy.
Our investigation is far from over. We still need to properly investigate Legoman’s claims about his time in SWAT. Furthermore, the damage of Legoman’s edits on other pages remains a serious problem. In total, we identified 35 pages affected by Lego’s biased editing and so far, only 4 of them have been fixed.
Hopefully, this is the last time a full wiki statement will be required on the Legoman bias controversy.
Thank you for your attention,
Rowan, Dino and Cabin
