Hello editors, we finally have enough news to share to warrant an update.
The Current Status of the Wiki
Over the past few months, Dino and myself have been working on a spreadsheet that would document the state of various pages of importance across the wiki. We looked at more than 100 armies/wars/etc. as part of this. This included:
Every Major Army we have on record from the OG and CPPS Eras (Incomplete but expanding as more armies from the OG and CPO periods are remembered.)
Every S/M Army we have on record from the OG and CPPS Eras (OG may be incomplete, CPPS may be missing more recent armies + CPO-Era Armies)
Every Major Organisation from the OG and CPPS Eras
A selection of major wars from the OG and CPPS Eras
Every tournament hosted that we could find records for from the OG and CPPS Eras (This is an incomplete list and subject to expansion as more information is discovered)
We wanted to assess how complete these pages were in terms of historical documentation as well as whether the pages had any bias issues that needed fixing. We’re yet to finish this review, but editing work has begun on sections that are complete (as discussed later).
We were very concerned to see just how incomplete the wiki actually is. The spreadsheet is viewable at this link:

To put it simply and frankly:
Virtually all CPPS-era army history past 2021 is missing other than some of the wars and one or two armies with connections to past/present staff [e.g. PIC, EGCP, SWAT]. Many other pages are missing any history associated with them past the summer of 2019.
If it happened in CPOAL/CPAL, we probably don’t have it/it needs rewriting.
Information relating to the OG Era is slowly disappearing as sites go down. The time we have to gather all of that information and preserve those sites in systems like the Wayback Archive is running out.
Out of all 36 recorded OG Major armies, only 2 pages are essentially complete.
Out of the 23 tournaments we looked at from across OG and CPPS Era history, only 5 are at least partially recorded on the wiki, and only 3 have pages for every edition hosted (Challenger’s Cup, Shamrock Bulletin’s Double Deck The Halls and CPO’s Summer Bash in 2019).
A lot of what does exist needs to be scrapped and rewritten anyway because it’s either of a subpar quality or full of bias.
If it’s an Organisation, we probably don’t have its history.
Work hasn’t begun yet on expanding the spreadsheet to review OG Era conflicts, OG Era S/M Armies, Legends as a whole, CPPS Era conflicts from 2021 onwards. We’ll provide updates on how these areas have fared in the coming months as work continues.
It’s really bad y’all! A lot of stuff is missing, or just plain sucks!
Now that we’ve got a better picture of the damage, we’re going to start working on fixing it. But, with such a small team and as we all have lives that are only getting busier, progress will likely be slow. Frankly, the task ahead feels like an impossible one to us here at the starting line.
Now more than ever, we would gladly welcome any assistance from those interested in filling the [chasm-sized] gaps in our community’s history records.
Staff Announcements and Recognition
We have once again done a cleanup on staff to remove any inactive users. We’ve also hired a few new faces and doled out one promotion.
Da Best and Keygater joined our team a while back as Content Moderators. We’ve also had a flurry of new hires in the past month, including Calgo and Spotty. We’ve also welcomed Sidie9 back to activity having been present on-and-off over the years. We welcome their help in the task ahead.
After more than two years of editing the wiki on-and-off, we’re pleased to announce the promotion of Df44 to Administrator. Whilst not always the most active on the wiki itself, Df has been a constant voice of reason in discussions throughout the wiki’s periods of activity since first receiving Content Moderator temporarily back in March of 2021.
Since we originally resumed activity internally in December, the staff have been hard at work with the spreadsheet. I’d like to take this chance to thank:
Da Best for his work with the tournaments section of the spreadsheet (having created and done substantial work on pages for Double Deck The Halls and March Madness in the past month alone).
Sidie9 for her work across the board, creating a page for the New Year’s Bonanza tournament and the long-forgotten Marines army (one of the first armies ever created, enjoyed success in both the OG and CPPS Eras), neither of which had been covered by the spreadsheet before she drew attention to them.
Given the monumental task ahead, we need content moderators more than ever. Please contact us if you’re willing and able to lend a hand.
