The World Wars are a series of huge wide scaled wars spanning the entirety of Club Penguin Armies history. Six wars occurred during the Original Era [2006-2017] and so far two wars have occurred during the CPPS Era [2017-].
Original Era [2006-2017]
World War I – The Color Wars
See: World War One
Snowball fights have been occurring on Club Penguin ever since Club Penguin was created in 2005. However, it wasn’t until around the middle of 2006 that Club Penguin Armies made their first appearance. The very first armies were based off the colors, such as red, blue, black, pink, green, orange, yellow, brown, etc. The Color War armies were unorganized armies since they had no central location to receive information like on a website or forum. They would simply log onto Club Penguin and battle each other in the Dojo. These series of battles fought in the Dojo by these armies are recognized today as World War I.
As Snowball fights began to become popular on Club Penguin, Club Penguin released its first Sports Party on August 4, 2006. This party featured red and blue as the two primary colors. From this, the Red and Blue armies became the most popular and powerful during the Color Wars. However, the Red army is recognized as being the biggest army in the Color Wars since they were able to organize themselves around a centralized leader named Korn. The Red army was able to rise to the top and win many battles, but eventually the Red army leader was overthrown and began to slowly decline along with the other Color War armies.

World War II – The Clan Wars
See: World War II
After the color clans slowly began to decline, Club Penguin Armies began to evolve into armies based on name and clothing rather color. Most clans during this time were still unorganized and based their headquarters on Club Penguin; however, some clans began to become armies by organizing themselves on the Miniclip Forums. During this time period, most new Club Penguin users came from Miniclip, and the Miniclip Forums were the center of Club Penguin culture. Through the Miniclip Forums, Vital Viper founded Mammoth as the “Forum Server,” thus making it a hot spot for warfare and Club Penguin Armies, especially during WWII.
This series of constant battles between these clans and newly formed organized armies is recognized as World War II. Although hundreds of clans were probably made during this period, the main clans and armies that are known to have existed and participated in this era were the Romans, Vikings, Pirates, Penguin Secret Agency (PSA), Army of Club Penguin (ACP), Club Penguin Army (CPA), and the Club Penguin United Nations Space Commission (CPUNSC). Armies like the Underground Mafias Army (UMA), Club Penguin Marines (CPM), and the Nachos were still forming, or in the Nachos’ case, still a clan. The ACP, Romans, and the CPUNSC were the first armies to officially organize on Miniclip forums.
To date, only accounts relating to one battle between Romans and ACP have been uncovered, meaning much of the history surrounding World War II has been lost.
World War III – UMA vs. ACP
See: World War III
World War III was a war fought between numerous armies, but rooted in a conflict between ACP and UMA. The conflict went on for several months partially due to a temporary ceasefire partway through proceedings. The war also saw the birth of the Rebel Penguin Federation after Commando717 led a rebellion within UMA which then joined ACP's side, tipping the balance in ACP's favour. The war firmly established ACP as the dominant power within armies, although this dominance would go on to be tested.
World War IV – The Great Alliance vs. ACP
See: The Great Alliance, World War IV
11/11/08 – 11/17/08
Club Penguin armies were given their first taste of teaming up on ACP through the developments of World War IV, the death of Mammoth as a war server. The roots of the fourth World War come from the summer wars over Mammoth in 2008. Armies like the Elites and the Black Jackets were causing havoc on Mammoth and constantly attacking the ACP. Armies such as the Ice Warriors, Nachos, and UMA helped the ACP to exterminate these armies. However, the increased presence of armies that were not the ACP created a war over Mammoth against the ACP. Other armies wanted a piece of Mammoth, a contributing piece to ACP’s success and growth.
July 2008
The Nachos were the first army to gain control of Mammoth during this war under the command of General Terrking24. This reign was short as there were many armies challenging each other for the possession of Mammoth. The ACP couldn’t handle the pressure of the increased amount of armies attempting to take Mammoth, so an agreement was made. During July of 2008, Mammoth was made a neutral server so that no army could own it. However, all armies were allowed to use it, deeming all raids and battles that occurred there to be useless. This can be defined as the very beginning of the decline of Club Penguin armies, as Mammoth began to be regulated, decreasing army activity.
November 2008
After months of inactivity, Oagalthorp made an appearance again in November 2008. Relations among the Big 5 (ACP, Nachos, IW, UMA, WW) were shaky, but most armies were ready to betray the ACP. A series of events led to a large scale battle on Mukluk on November 10th, 2008. The ACP declared victory against the Nachos, IW, and the UMA which inspired Shaboomboom to make a post declaring the invasion of Mammoth. Oagalthorp was originally appalled by the ACP’s loss of Mammoth and encouraged the ACP to take back Mammoth for the glory of the ACP and revive it as their proud home server. The ACP leadership made no attempt to stop his persuasion, and the ACP scheduled their invasion. This met massive opposition across the army community, and ACP became public enemy #1.
Other armies, unwilling to let ACP become incredibly powerful again with Mammoth, banded together to stop the ACP from taking their server of Mammoth. The entire army community fought ACP over Mammoth in November 2008. The armies on the Alliance’s side were the Nachos, Ice Warriors, UMA, RPF, RBAA, LVAS, Black Bandits, Black Jackets, Lunar Army, Tacos, Club Penguin Warriors, and the Watex Warriors. ACP would remain by themselves.
7 MAJOR BATTLES (November 11th – November 17th)
World War Four (WWIV) consisted of 7 major battles. In each one of them, the allies claimed victory, while the ACP usually stayed reluctant to make public statements about the battles. November 11th contained no battles simply because the flaming stayed on chat as armies planned how they would take out eachother. The ACP was the target of major flaming, as they eagerly defended themselves and their retaking of their home server.
The first major battle was the Nacho raid of Snow Fort, occurring on November 12th. The Nachos raided the important ACP server along with the Ice Warriors and UMA, defeating the ACP in roughly an hour and a half, but did not claim ownership of the server. Later that day, the ACP retaliated by invading White House (Nacho Capital). The ACP arrived with more than 30 troops at White House, but the mobilization of the Alliance armies was so swift, that ACP was forced off the server after being outnumbered and outmaneuvered.
The next day, the ACP decided to attack another enemy — the Ice Warriors. ACP invaded Sub Zero(IW Capital) at around noon on November 13th. This was a 2 hour long battle which required the resources of all of the allied armies against the ACP, who showed up very prepared for this raid. After 2 hours, ACP troops were dwindling while the Nachos began arriving in large numbers, which finally forced the ACP off the server. Another allied victory. However, ACP wouldn’t stop their unscheduled raids there. Bright and early the next day, the ACP invaded White House, but without much organization. The Nachos called on the Ice Warriors to help, and the ACP were quickly defeated within 45 minutes. The ACP began to save their resources for their November 15th invasion.
However, before the November 15th invasion of Mammoth could take place, the Allies fought a major battle on Snow Fort with the ACP 4 hours before the scheduled battle. Not only was it time consuming for both sides, but it left the ACP with a taste of defeat that they would be feeling for the next few days. Defeat destroyed ACP’s chances of recruiting before the battle, which certainly affected the ACP in their invasion later that day.
The 5th battle was the scheduled battle for Mammoth on November 15th, but would take place on Snow Fort because Mammoth was constantly full. The battle was dominated by the Alliance, but 5 hours after the battle, Oagalthorp made a post in an attempt to make it look as if the ACP made it difficult for 7 armies to defeat the ACP.
The Alliance dominated the battle, which lasted an hour and a half, and the ACP made desperate attempts to keep the spirits of their troops high by lying in their posts. The ACP would need it for the next day, which was another scheduled invasion for Mammoth. During the scheduled invasion on November 16th, ACP would be left completely destroyed as they surrendered and the Allies had their certain victory over Mammoth.
At 10:41 AM PST on Snow Forts, the ACP were officially defeated. The war was sure to be over, and Mammoth was sure to be secured as neutral. However, Oagalthorp was so angered by the ACP’s failures, that he promised to delete the ACP website if the ACP did not win the invasion of Mammoth that he would schedule for November 17th.
This became the most important battle of the war. The ACP as an army would be gone if Oagalthorp went through with deleting the site. Despite this, the unexpected happened. During the battle, Shaboomboom gave the command to get off the server so that the ACP website would get deleted. Being an ACP Leader, this was completely unexpected, and led many to question the oppressive rule that Oagalthorp had the ACP under. Would it be better for ACP to be gone, so Shab could make his own site, than to live under the oppressive power of Oagalthorp?
In the end, the ACP did lose, but Oagalthorp decided not to delete the ACP website because “If I deleted it, the Nachos would win, and we can’t have that”. However, he demanded that Shaboomboom and Jedimaster17 get the ACP straightened out. The leadership made a compromise that became the reason for ACP’s ability to reconstruct an army to rival its former glory. Boomer 20, Shaboomboom, and Jedimaster17 would have equal power as the leaders of the ACP, although Boomer 20 would have the title “Supreme Commander.” The ACP desperately needed a plan in order to get back on its feet after a devastating war that ensured the loss of their home server.
The Alliance armies allowed the ACP to go through with their reconstruction plans because the Alliance believed that the ACP would crumble and fall. This fatal mistake would lead to the ACP’s victory in the Christmas tournament a little more than a month later, and ACP’s competition with the Nachos through 2009. Boomer 20 would go on to bring the ACP to their golden age, at the same rate that Person1233 led the Nachos to their golden age during the same time period. The legacy of this war is felt even to this day in Club Penguin armies.
World War IV brought on the death of Mammoth because after such a war, Mammoth neutrality went to waste. If no one could possibly own Mammoth, what was the point of defending it from raids? The ACP on the server were passed off as noobs who were a waste of time, and an era was over. Mammoth would never be revived. During the same week of the war, Club Penguin introduced the new dojo, which created incredible lag and a room that was no longer good enough to have wars in. World War IV took place in the Snow Forts because of how terrible the Dojo was. World War IV not only sucked Mammoth dry of war, but it contributed to this along with Club Penguin’s revamp of the Dojo.
World War V – Night Warriors & Nachos vs. Army of Club Penguin
Part I: How did the war start?
Former ACP Leader Mchappy said the war mostly had started between Doritos and the Night Warriors. Also, NW had been anti-ACP, especially from their loss against ACP in the Legend’s Cup tournament, and were really going hardcore against DCP. For example, they kept on calling DCP as “terrorists”.
Vendetta, leader of NW, formed an alliance with the Nachos and Dark Warriors against Doritos. Their main goal, however, was to get rid of ACP’s allies first, and then attack ACP. As ACP had a strong alliance and relationship with DCP, cold war tensions grew between NW and ACP. Vendetta also threatened war against armies that were going to DCP. As the two largest super powers (ACP and NW) were despising each other, war became inevitable. Raids occurred frequently between the two armies.
Finally, Mchappy made the biggest move of helping Doritos in their war against NW. On February 3, 2011, ACP joined the war, which officially started World War 5. Mchappy’s reason for declaring war against the Night Warriors can be found by hid excerpt below (more information from their declaration of war can be found here):
From ACP’s point of view, they joined the war to defend DCP, regardless from their past mistakes. DCP’s leader, Wwebestfan, was asking for forgiveness from the CP Army Community in general. Before Doritos were in war with NW, Wwebestfan made many threats to armies, including ACP. The excerpt from his forgiveness can be found below:
Mchappy believed that it was right for ACP and its allies to help DCP, comparing to them to the Somalian Civil War. As ACP are now in war, they begin defending DCP’s nation at the start of the war. Also, ACP’s creator and former leader, Oagalthorp, makes a return to help ACP. As the beginning battles of World War 5 rages on, ACP would fight on two major fronts, Night Warriors and the Nacho Empire.
Part II: The Beginning Battles
As ACP entered the war, they started off on the defensive side. Many battles had occurred between ACP and NW’s alliance between February 9-13 of 2011. Although both sides won a few battles, NW’s allies had a slight edge. They had conquered important servers from ACP, such as Snow Fort, Breeze, and Snow Globe.
Nachos and the Night Warriors conquer Breeze.
Nachos and Dark Warriors conquer Snow Forts
As ACP were more on a losing side of this war, they have realized that they have underestimated their enemies. The leaders of ACP needed to get on the offensive side quickly to turn this war around. In addition to this, many legends of ACP started coming to aid their army, such as Boomer and Shaboomboom.
Part III: ACP’s Invasion of Fog-The Turning Point
At the start of this World War, ACP was turned on its heels and in retreat, on the losing side of the war. They had lost several servers, including their capital, Breeze. Leaders of ACP knew they had to make a move that would change the course of this war to their favor, and rejuvenate their troops’ morale.
Planning began for an invasion to bring an end to the Night Warriors. Mchappy (ACP Leader) and Oagalthorp (ACP Creator) decided the best option to start the Night Warriors’ downfall was to go straight to the heart of their empire, their capital, Fog.
The plans were quickly finalized, and a week’s notice was given by ACP. During this whole week, ACP and NW both prepared for this attack by recruiting and raising the troop’s morale. Both sides knew they had to win in order for this war to turn in their favor.
Oagalthorp is known his many inspirational speeches to the CP Army Community and to ACP. He soon stepped in to help rally the troops before the battle.
On the day of the battle, both sides made last-minute preparations. Both armies offered incentives to the soldiers for attending, such as promotions and ownership on chat. This was a one-on-one battle, as ACP’s birth server, Mammoth, was being invaded by NW’s allies at the start of the battle. ACP decided to ignore that battle as they felt it was more important to capture Fog first.
ACP pulled out an impressive comeback, claiming to have maxed over 100 troops. The Night Warriors, on the other hand, topped about 35-45 troops. ACP claimed the Dock, Plaza, Snow Forts, Beach, Ice Rink, Ice Berg, and the Box Dimension for the fun of it. NW stuck mostly to the Town and the Plaza the whole battle. In the end, the Night Warriors were defeated on their home territory, but it was a win for both sides as NW’s allies had Mammoth and ACP had Fog. The course of this war would soon change, however, when DW decided to leave NW’s alliance and joined the side of ACP. This was a huge disadvantage for the Night Warriors and Nachos as their entire plan went downhill and they were now outnumbered.
Part IV: Last Battles of WWV
The ACP troops have now regained their morale and determination to fight on. Also, they have a huge advantage at their hands as the Dark Warriors betrayed NW’s alliance. As the war is getting to its ends, ACP launches Operation March of Destruction, which was a week full of invasions scheduled against the Night Warriors.
ACP and its allies were successful in their Operation March of Destruction campaign and were able to take the following servers: Alpine, Frozen, Hockey, Ice Age, Ice Land, Jack Frost, Hockey, Oyster, and Tundra. More invasions were added to the operation as the week went by. During this week, they also had to defend their historic server, Snow Fort, which they were able to pull it off.
ACP, along with Doritos and Dark Warriors invaded Summit.
After this operation, the Nachos have dropped out of the war, leaving NW by themselves. ACP now schedules their invasion on Breeze, in order to liberate their capitol. In comparison, the Night Warriors also launch an invasion on Fog, hoping to have at least one last chance to stay and compete ACP and its allies alone in this war.
Part V: Victory of ACP
On February 26, 2011, ACP troops march towards battle on Breeze, hoping to end this war in a positive way. After this invasion, they also had to defend Fog, which was NW’s last hope for redemption. In the end of the day, ACP were victorious in both of these battles. They were able to max 50 soldiers in each battle, defeating the Night Warriors easily. Vendetta realized that there was no hope in fighting on and has decided to surrender to the Army of Club Penguin:
ACP successfully reclaim their capitol, Breeze, on the last day of the war.
Vendetta, leader of the Night Warriors surrenders to the Army of Club Penguin.
Flipper, ACP 3ic, has posted the victory post for ACP, which part of it can be seen below:
WWV is probably known as the last “righteous” war. In this world war, cheating was uncommon compared to the conflicts that occurred in WWVI and today. Armies were able to accept defeat honorably and they had common goals. This era was soon brought to an end after WWV, which can be seen more in WWVI.

CPPS Era [2017-Present Day]
World War VII – Red Dawn Alliance vs. United Armies of Club Penguin Online
See: World War VII, Red Dawn Alliance
World War VII was the first war fought during the modern CPPS era to involve the entire community at a point where there was an entire community. It commenced in early July, 2018 and was fought predominantly between the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Red Dawn Alliance [primarily built from the forces of the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin and the Templars, although countless other S/M armies were involved]. The conflict broke out initially for a variety of factors, ranging from general anti-RPF sentiments to accusations against Templars of multilogging to a series of unplanned skirmishes between Templars and RPF. Early actions of the war included Operation Dynamis, which saw RPF successfully infiltrate Templars' High Command by faking the firing of RPF second-in-command Plane.
The primary skirmish of the war was fought on July 27th after RPF's forces attempted to invade a Templars event. This battle lasted 30 minutes before simmering off. At the time, the battle's verdict wasn't formally decided by a judging system given the lack of one. RPF didn't make any posts to their website discussing or acknowledging the raid.
The war ended shortly after this [although there was a further attempt at a battle which immediately broke down following cheating allegations] due to Club Penguin Online deciding to clamp down on armies and banning several.
No formal organisation or judging system existed at the time to formally declare a victor, meaning the decision ultimately fell down to the CPA Wiki. After discussion and reviews of the entire war, the Red Dawn Alliance were eventually declared the victors. RPF initially ignored this ruling and claimed victory anyway, but by 2020 modern RPF leaders acknowledged that World War VII was a loss for their predecessors.
World War VIII – Vengeance Alliance vs Western Bloc
See: World War VIII, Vengeance Alliance, Western Bloc
World War VIII was a conflict fought between October 8th and November 15th in 2021. The war was fought between the Vengeance Alliance [Help Force, Army of Club Penguin, PIC] and a revival of the Red Dawn Alliance [Templars, PIC and Trojans] versus the Western Bloc [Silver Empire, Water Vikings, SWAT and WAP]. The war was originally titled the 'Second Silver Rush War' as it commenced as a second round between Silver Empire and Help Force [having fought a war in April of the same year to a HF victory]. However, in the final weeks the war gained the title 'War of No Judges' on account of numerous battles being cancelled due to inadequate judge numbers. The war ended in a declaration of 'no-winner' after more than a month of continuous battles.
World War IX – Blue Sunset Alliance vs Sapphire Concordat
See: World War IX, Blue Sunset Alliance, Sapphire Concordat
World War IX was a community-wide war fought between June 1st and June 13th in 2023. The war was fought between the Sapphire Concordat [Help Force, Army of CP, PIC, SWAT, Templars, Napalm Corps] and the Blue Sunset Alliance [Rebel Penguin Federation, Water Vikings, Elite Guardians of CP]. War broke out after the BSA attempted to initiate a war against ACP using war terms that prevented ACP from using allies but allowed BSA to. Other armies within the community reacted negatively to this and, after the term was blocked by Club Penguin Armies (2022), several armies rallied under the pre-existing Sapphire Concordat alliance spearheaded by PIC and SWAT. In spite of more armies backing SC, the Blue Sunset Alliance built a tremendous lead over the other alliance, winning 32 battles, taking 18 servers and preventing SC from claiming a single victory. PIC and the Napalm Corps were eventually pushed out of the war via force treaty after they lost all of their territory. However, after almost two weeks of constant battling the Sapphire Concordat still possessed almost 100 servers meaning the war could easily stretch out for many more weeks.
Instead of prolonging the fighting, both parties agreed to a peace treaty that would end hostilities, declaring 'no-victor' and even formally preventing any army involved from mentioning the war score. However, the inclusion of this term backfired spectacularly in the face of the Rebel Penguin Federation, who referenced the war score during their end-of-war post by "honest mistake." Consequently, the Sapphire Concordat gained RPF's 18 servers.
And so, with the Blue Sunset Alliance's server gains wiped out, World War IX truly became a war with no victor.
